Job summary

CMC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facilities, including recycling centers and fabrication plants. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with installation and calibration of equipment, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation of machinery.

Qualifications

1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Basic computer skills for work orders and reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
Assist in installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired equipment.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs and parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Experience with automated or computerized manufacturing equipment preferred.

Your Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Degree Preferred
