Job summary

Commercial Metals is hiring for a maintenance technician in Fort Worth. You will work in our facilities, operating and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment while following strict safety protocols.

The role requires hands-on abilities with hand and power tools, attention to maintenance detail, and a commitment to working in varied weather and industrial environments. CMC offers strong benefits, development opportunities, and a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with a wide variety of tools related to mechanics/hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and precision tools for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture.
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Perform repair and maintenance using hand, power and precision tools across systems.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
