Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to lead pre-litigation matters and guide clients through the case process. You will draft and file pre-litigation documents and oversee liability-related approvals, while driving efficiency and results.

The role entails managing 6-10 Case Managers, focusing on personal injury and general liability, and maintaining high standards of client service and advocacy. Reports to the Pre-Suit Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the ALState Bar Association.
• 1+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Desire to become part of a trial team.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily general liability.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team.
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements.
