Job summary

ScanSource is seeking a Technical Sales Support professional to provide pre-sales technical expertise to internal and external customers. You will handle inquiries about hardware and software, guide users, and log cases for history tracking, while supporting demonstrations and training sessions.

The role requires strong English communication, quick learning, and experience with networking or security technologies.

Qualifications

Experience with Networking or Physical Security technologies.
Minimum 1 year of experience in providing support of technology products.
Customer service experience, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to speak English plainly and to be easily understood over the phone.
Ability to understand spoken English, both technical and colloquial.

Responsibilities

Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for assistance from users seeking information about hardware and software; logs and tracks calls using case management database.
First point of contact for pre-sale technical questions/inquiries.
Training internal and external customers on technology and suppliers which may include demonstrations, lectures, or one on one engagements.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the Technical Sales Support position.
Other duties as assigned.
