Extreme Networks seeks a Systems Engineer for the Sales team in a Pre-Sales role focused on sports and entertainment venues. You will design, present, and oversee large-scale public venue networks, traveling to customer sites to showcase methodologies and differentiators.

You will work with Sales and cross-functional teams to win business. You bring 5+ years in network engineering or pre-sales, expert Wi‑Fi knowledge, and strong communication skills to marshal solutions with customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering, systems design, or pre-sales.
• Expert knowledge of 802.11 Wi‑Fi and wireless design.
• Strong wired/wireless/security networking background with competitive experience.
• Proven ability to influence customer decisions and displace competitors.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee complex network solutions for venues.
• Deliver presentations to executive, management, and technical audiences.
• Represent Extreme at trade shows, seminars, and briefings.
• Architect solutions aligning Extreme products with customer needs.
• Demonstrate products and articulate competitive advantages.
• Manage complex customer interactions and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Support, and Product teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve live network issues.
