Job summary

Gumloop is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives, running discovery calls and translating high-value automation opportunities into production-ready solutions on our platform. You will build tailored demos and proofs of concept to demonstrate Gumloop's capabilities, and lead technical evaluations to a signed contract.

This hands-on role requires scoping solutions, prototyping on the platform, and ensuring customers can take ownership and expand usage.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing technical role experience in the sales cycle.
• Hands-on builder who prototypes and iterates until it works.
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, integrations, and data pipelines; can read/write code (Python, JS/TS).
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered applications and evaluating technical deployments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on active opportunities — run technical discovery calls and surface high-value automation uses.
• Build and deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept that show how Gumloop solves customer problems; own the technical win to contract.
• Field technical, security, and integration questions during evaluation; coordinate with Engineering as needed.
• Pilot new customers end-to-end — scope use cases, build working solutions, and drive production readiness.
