Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Networking in the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area. This customer-facing role requires local travel to customer sites and living in Washington state or willingness to relocate within the greater Seattle region.

The SE will deliver pre-sales support for complex networking solutions, aligning with business requirements and competitive positioning. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in technical pre-sales, strong networking knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4+ years of technical pre-sales or related experience.
Extensive Networking experience: routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE, and Network Management platforms (on-prem and cloud).
Hold networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
Experience with Network Access Security (e.g., Clearpass, ISE).

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales technical support for development and implementation of complex solutions.
Qualify opportunities with Territory Manager to drive deals to closure.
Create and document technology solutions and proposals meeting customer requirements.
Lead and support Proof of Concept engagements to prove solution value.
Collaborate with partners to expand sales via the channel.
