Job summary

SONIFI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Solution Design Associate to support the Guest Internet Access sales process and drive timely network designs for proposals.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to craft cost-effective, standards-compliant solutions tailored to each client. You will build network diagrams, heatmaps, and placement plans, prepare demos and proofs of concept, and help communicate the value of SONIFI’s GIA offerings to customers.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree minimum; four-year preferred in Network Engineering or Information Technology.
• Minimum two years' IP networking and communications-related experience.
• Detailed knowledge of networking such as DOCSIS, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team by designing networks for proposals and engaging in pre-sales activities.
• Develop cost-effective network designs that meet SONIFI standards and client requirements.
• Create access point placement plans, network diagrams, predictive heatmaps, and cabling plans.
• Prepare technical content, demos, and proofs of concepts to demonstrate use cases for GIA solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure designs meet brand standards.
• Produce accurate quotes and detailed supporting documentation for contracts and proposals.
• Pursue industry certifications (ECSE, CWDP, CWNA) and vendor training to enhance solutions.
