Qualifications

• 7+ years in welding automation, pre-sales engineering, or robotic systems integration.
• Solid understanding of GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding processes and metallurgy impacts on feasibility.
• Proficiency reviewing or drafting conceptual cell layouts using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong professional communication for client-facing interactions with engineering teams.
• US citizenship or Green Card holder; reside within a 45-minute Pewaukee commuting radius.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical feasibility as the primary pre-sales point of contact.
• Architect welding automation concepts and select processes, power sources, and layouts for projects.
• Develop technical proposals including layouts, cycle times, labor hours, and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld sample evaluations, trials, and feasibility testing.
• Travel to customer facilities ~15% for requirements gathering and design reviews.
• Ensure weld processes comply with AWS D1.1, ASME IX and customer specs.
