Job summary

KDDI America, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Sales Security Architect to lead technical discovery, design solutions, and coordinate proofs of concept for financial institutions in the New York region.

You will translate business requirements into architectures across MXDR, EDR/XDR, SASE/ZTNA, email security, and brand protection, produce proposals, and ensure smooth handover to Delivery. This role involves engaging with customers, crafting technical content, and supporting the broader sales organization

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and scoping conversations with customers.
• Plan and lead proofs of concept and product demonstrations.
• Produce architecture diagrams, BOMs, and technical scope documents.
• Maintain vendor technical relationships and evaluate offerings.
• Ensure clean pre-sales to delivery handover and kickoff participation.
• Support accounts in NY region, focusing on regulated financial clients.
• Develop reusable templates, reference architectures, and pre-sales collateral.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to pre-sales methodology.
