Siemens is seeking an Application Engineer, Pre-Sales to act as the primary technical liaison between sales teams, potential clients, and the business development group. You will design tailored Digital Power solutions, prepare proposals, and present technical demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities include quotation collaboration, needs assessment, PoC planning, and post-sale technical support, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or engineering.
• 3+ years in application engineering, field service, or tech sales support for power/energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and energy management solutions.
• Familiar with Modbus, BACnet, IEC 61850 and networking architectures.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with sales for quotation and offer management.
• Engage with clients to assess technical requirements and business challenges for Digital Power solutions.
• Own RFP/RFI technical responses with accurate drawings and nomenclature.
• Design solutions using product portfolio and prepare detailed proposals and BOMs.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
