Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Lead Pre-Registration Pre-Certification Specialist to support the supervisor in identifying patients eligible for pre-registration and pre-certification across new and returning patients.

You will train staff, ensure accurate demographic and insurance data in the registration system, and serve as a subject matter expert for pre-certification and pre-registration processes. Remote, full-time role with KPIs tied to accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years admitt/registration & pre-certification or patient accounting experience.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Epic experience preferred (clinical registration systems).

Responsibilities

• Supports supervisor with identifying patients eligible for pre-registration and pre-certification.
• Trains staff and provides guidance on pre-reg/pre-cert processes.
• Escalates EPIC RTE issues and manages complex coverage problems.
• Maintains real-time authorization database and supports daily call logs.
