Job summary

Hubler Chevrolet, INC. is seeking an Automotive Pre-Owned Service Technician Shop Foreman to lead the pre-owned service team, set goals for personal service improvements, and monitor progress against customer satisfaction indicators, technician performance, and production metrics.

You will supervise Recon Technicians, troubleshoot customer concerns, and ensure first-time quality in vehicle service while maintaining a high standard of customer care and operational efficiency.

• Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics and repairs on multiple vehicle makes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest tools.
• Maintain courtesy toward all customers.
• Act as secondary customer greeter near the Service Drive.
• Stay current with technical publications and Service Comm.
• Ensure safe, reliable service is delivered on first attempt.
• Assist Recon Technicians in diagnosing issues.
• Address original concerns before pursuing additional sales.
• Inspect vehicles for additional sales opportunities per local and factory guidance.
• Return vehicles clean or cleaner than arrival.
• Participate in factory or in-house training programs.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach to RO copy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader.
• Arrive on time, ready to work in clean uniform.

Automotive Pre-Owned Service Technician Shop Foreman

Customer satisfaction is a result of your personal work habits and ethics and is of utmost importance as part of your job function.

ThePre-Owned Service Technician Shop Foremanisresponsible for setting goals for personal service improvement withPre-Owned Recon Technicians, and monitor progress against customer satisfaction index numbers, personal technician performance,and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided
• Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with
• While in the vicinity of the Service Drive, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that have not yet been acknowledged
• Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
• Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honorable vehicle service is delivered as promised the first time
• Assist other Recon Technicians is diagnosing vehicle issues and concerns
• Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales
• Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and factory recommendation
• Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived
• Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you
• Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, then ensure all required shop forms are attached to the RO hard copy
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader
• Always come to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniform

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certification
