Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of clean energy contracts and carbon-related agreements. You will lead negotiations, ensure contract compliance, and monitor project development and performance across wind, solar, and related assets.

You will work with legal, finance, and operations to report on financial and operational results, optimize workflows using AI tools, and drive cross-functional collaboration across Meta's Global Energy Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science or related field.
• 5+ years in clean energy contract management, procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience managing renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar.
• Experience drafting official correspondence with counterparties and partnering with suppliers.
• Proficiency with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and interpret energy data.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements across contracts.
• Create and manage documents and data related to energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with milestones and deliverables.
• Respond to inquiries and manage amendments, collateral, force majeure, and related issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Monitor and analyze clean energy and renewable project performance.
• Track development and construction milestones and report risks.
• Approve and sign contract documents post-execution.
• Support invoicing and ensure REC costs and performance align with terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
