Job summary

Meta seeks a seasoned Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of clean energy contracts and related carbon agreements. You will negotiate amendments, monitor project development, and report on financial and operational performance for operating projects.

You will analyze energy generation data, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and successful procurement of renewable energy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a similar field.
5+ years of experience in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations.
Experience in managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar energy supply contracts.
Experience drafting official correspondence and developing partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Experience with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
Experience in analyzing and interpreting energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

Owns Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements; negotiates amendments and ensures contract compliance.
Tracks contract milestones, counterparty deliverables, and project performance.
Supports invoicing and reporting on clean energy contracts; monitors RECs and costs.
Coordinates with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing and other stakeholders.
Manages contract documents and approval/signature processes after execution.
