Job summary

Meta is seeking a skilled Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of clean energy contracts and related carbon agreements. You will monitor project development, performance, and compliance while negotiating amendments and coordinating with legal, finance, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, contract governance, and stakeholder collaboration to optimize energy assets and drive value for Meta's energy strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a similar field
• 5+ years of experience in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations
• Experience in managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar
• Experience drafting official correspondence and developing partnerships with suppliers
• Experience with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau
• Experience building cross-functional relationships
• Experience interpreting energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's executed clean energy and carbon credit requirements
• Create, maintain, update documents and data related to clean and renewable energy contracts
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and other deliverables
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues as needed
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations
• Track and analyze clean energy operational project performance
• Track and analyze renewable energy financial project performance
• Track project progress through development and construction milestones, and lead risk reporting against schedule and forecast
• Manage the approval and signature process for contract documents after execution
• Support invoicing and reporting on clean energy contracts, and ensure RECs, costs, and project performance are consistent with contract terms
• Coordinate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and other stakeholders
