Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Portfolio Manager to own and manage a portfolio of clean energy contracts and related carbon reduction agreements. You will coordinate amendments, ensure contract compliance, monitor project development, and report on financial and operational performance for operating projects.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in clean energy contracts or asset management, with wind/solar experience, and proficiency in G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, or environmental science, paralegal studies, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar energy supply contracts.
• Experience drafting official correspondence with counterparties and maintaining partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience in analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements.
• Create and maintain documents and data related to clean energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and deliverables.
• Respond to inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure, and related issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Track and analyze clean energy and renewable energy project performance.
• Track project progress through development and construction milestones; lead risk reporting against schedule and forecast.
• Manage the approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Support invoicing and reporting on clean energy contracts; ensure REC costs and project performance align with terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
