Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality improvement activities to enhance care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to ethical and professional standards.
• Documents accurately in the electronic health record and communicates effectively.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
