Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Park Ridge, IL. This per diem, part-time role requires PACU experience and an active IL RN license, with BSN preferred. ACLS/CPR are required; PALS preferred or to be completed within 3 months of hire.

The unit operates M-F 0600-1930 with varying shifts, and holidays may be required. The RN will deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care across the perioperative continuum, ensuring safety and a positive

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with BSN enrollment within four years.
• Current CPR; ACLS certification required.
• PALS preferred or completed within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum one year PACU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care in PACU.
• Coordinate patient care and safe transitions to home or other facilities.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and clinical decision-making.

Education

IL RN license
