Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Pre/Post Op. This full-time role includes day shifts, 40 hours per week, with either 5x8 or 4x10 schedules and rotating call on Saturdays.

Requirements: current IL RN license, CPR/ACLS preferred or within 3 months; at least one year in Preop/Postop or related areas; ability to work weekends/holidays and varying shifts; ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifikationen

• Current IL RN license is required at hire.
• CPR and ACLS certification preferred or must be completed within 3 months.
• Minimum of one year in Preop/Postop, Critical Care, ED, or Step-down ICU is highly desirable.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts; on-call may be required.

Aufgaben

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care in ambulatory setting.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate care with the surgical team.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure patient safety during transitions.
