Job summary

Dreams 2 Reality Recruitment is seeking a Registered Nurse (Pre-Op) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in ambulatory and surgical pre-operative settings. The nurse will assess patients, develop individualized plans of care, and evaluate outcomes while ensuring compliance with nursing standards and state regulations.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current and valid RN licensure through KS or NLC multistate license.
• Current and valid Basic or Advanced Life Support certification (ARC BLS, AHA BLS, or ARC ALS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Prepare patients for surgical and procedural care in pre-operative and ambulatory settings.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, organizational policies, and state regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to promote safe, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in scheduled surgery, PACU, and ambulatory call shifts.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Education

Associated degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
