Linton-Delray Beach Surgery Center in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse for a full-time role. The RN provides continuity and quality care for patients under anesthesia recovery, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS (PALS per center), and 2 years PACU/ICU experience. Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• May assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and using sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Deliver total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
