Fish Pond Surgery Center, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse for PreOp/PACU to deliver continuous, high-quality nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy throughout the patient stay.
The RN will assist physicians in the OR with procedures and conscious sedation, apply sterile techniques as needed, and provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia, including assessment, planning and discharge guidance.
We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
