Job summary

Countryside Daycare & Preschool is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher for our pre-kindergarten program. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in ECE or related field and has at least two years of teaching experience in early learning.

Responsibilities include managing the classroom, planning and delivering lessons, conducting assessments, and writing reports, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with the Director of Programs on daily matters.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or human services.
• Two years of experience teaching children in an early learning setting.
• Strong classroom management and instructional planning.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and implement standards of classroom management that support instruction.
• Instruct class with the ability to observe, assess children, and plan and implement lesson plans.
• Perform assessments and write reports.
• Review educational goals and adapt plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the Director of Programs on daily issues and concerns.
• Maintain professional conduct with students, co-workers, and situations.
