Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor a classroom team, delivering our curriculum in a nurturing environment for young learners. You will partner with families to ensure outstanding care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

Strong communication with staff and licensing authorities is essential. Requirements include CDA credential or NAECY candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multitask
• CDA Credential or NAECY candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds
• English communication with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviours and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents to support child care and education
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to boost enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
