Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor staff, deliver high-quality early childhood education, and partner with families in a center setting. The role focuses on implementing curriculum, ensuring safety, and supporting center goals across enrollment and accreditation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of ECE experience, a relevant degree or credentials, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Possess an active CDA Credential or be eligible for NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or be willing to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking abilities with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
