Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in a Minnesota classroom, helping build literacy and numeracy skills. You will work with a teacher, deliver proven activities, and receive on-site coaching to strengthen practice.

You’ll engage children through talking, reading, writing, singing, and play, tracking progress and growing professionally via ongoing training and mentorship. The role is part of AmeriCorps’ program offerings.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable with good attendance and ability to follow instructions.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including email and online navigation.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Eligible to work in the United States and complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
