Job summary

Early Learning Corps, operated by Ampact, is hiring an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom and help students build early literacy and math skills. You’ll be trained to deliver proven activities and coached every step of the way.

Compensation is through AmeriCorps stipend with opportunities for education awards; 35 hours per week, with part-time roles also available. Strong English, reliability, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email / online navigation).

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
