Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to work with preschoolers in a pre-kindergarten classroom, helping build early literacy and math skills. You will partner with a teacher and deliver proven activities, coaching students and tracking progress to support strong beginnings in learning.

The role emphasizes dependable attendance, following instructions, and ongoing coaching. Part-time options exist and AmeriCorps stipends support full-time schedules in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance and reliable presence in class.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills like email and online navigation.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
