Uncommon Schools is seeking an Aftercare Support role to assist teachers for the pre-K 4 program in New York. You will help with 1:1, small group and whole-class activities, supervise outdoor play, and keep classrooms prepared for the next day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing aftercare for a pre-K 4-year program.
• Engage students in 1:1, small group and whole group activities.
• Support outdoor play and supervise safety of students.
• Keep classrooms clean and organized for the next day.
• Assist lead teacher with end-of-day closeout tasks.
• Support students with routine activities including bathroom, snack and rest.
• Ensure students are safe at all times during school hours.
• Time: Mon-Thu 3:30-5:30; Fri 12:30-5:30.
