Right At School is seeking a PreK Group Teacher in New York to lead morning and after-school activities. You will organize daily activities, ensure safety, and foster a love of learning for young children.

Required NY state credentials include an associate’s degree or CDA with experience, plus First Aid/CPR, tuberculosis clearance, and age 18+. The role offers competitive pay and a supportive team environment with family-focused programming.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field.
• CDA and at least 1 year of experience with under-5s.
• First Aid and CPR in-person training.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and updates; encourage collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and lead activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment with positive guidance.
• Monitor safety, attendance, incidents and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
