Job summary

MYR Energy Services, a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager in Pre-Construction to oversee electrical substation, transmission, and distribution EPC projects nationwide. You’ll manage design engineering teams, coordinate procurement, and support owner design reviews from bidding through final as-built deliverables.

The role requires PE licensure, 7+ years in related fields, and strong leadership. Travel up to 25% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in design, engineering, or project management related to electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• PE license is required.
• Construction-related or EPC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects from bid to closeout.
• Coordinate design engineering subcontractors and field liaison activities.
• Interface with vendors and procurement to ensure timely deliverables.
