Job summary

BankFirst Financial Services is seeking an experienced loan documentation specialist to perform pre-closing reviews for consumer and selected commercial loans, ensuring conformance with bank policy and regulatory standards. You will prepare closing packages across markets within defined turnaround times and maintain compliance with all requirements.

Responsibilities include verifying documents, preparing new and modified loan packages, assisting with third-party filings, and advising on policy

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of work experience in consumer and commercial loan documentation (LaserPro preferred).
Broad knowledge of loan compliance and regulatory requirements.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Verify loan documents to support approved terms, collateral and lending authorities.
Prepare documentation for new, renewal and modified loans using internal software.
Produce complete, accurate loan document packages (notes, agreements, security docs).
Assist with third-party services (UCC filings, flood determinations, etc.).
Provide guidance on documentation, policy or procedural issues.
Notify lenders of problems and recommend resolutions.
Participate in training on pre-closing and compliance.
Support Department Manager and assist with bank initiatives and training.
