Essential Job Functions
  • Read, interpret, and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products
  • Set up and operate manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and related preparation activities
  • Perform cleaning of product as necessary
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper movement and control of product
  • Ensure all equipment and materials used comply with procedures
  • Proactively improve area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering
  • Be responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
  • Perform all required preventative maintenance activities
  • Aid in preparation for and participate in all required area audits
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Other assignments as required
Qualifications
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and co‑workers to promote strong working relationships and a teamwork‑focused environment
  • Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
  • Dependable and available to work overtime when required
  • Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook
  • Self‑motivated and able to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs for 50% of the time. Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment
Education Required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
