  • Ability to carry and lift up to 35 lbs and stand/kneel/squat as required.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products.
  • Sets up and operates manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities.
  • Performs cleaning of product as necessary.
  • Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper movement of product.
  • Ensures all equipment and materials used are compliant with procedures.
  • Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen with leadership and Engineering.
  • Responsible for proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste.
  • Performs required preventative maintenance activities.
  • Aids in preparation for and participates in area audits.
  • Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures.

Essential Job Functions
  • Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products
  • Sets up and operates manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities
  • Performs cleaning of product as necessary
  • Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
  • Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures

Qualifications
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

  • Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required
  • Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
  • Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
Education Required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
