Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking a TT Strap Associate for the 3rd shift to support production in the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division. The role involves following manufacturing instructions, documenting quality conformance, and supporting lean initiatives within aerospace-grade manufacturing environments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing, and the ability to read drawings while lifting up to 35 lbs.

• Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
• Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (30% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows all manufacturing instructions and print requirements for the production of components in TT Strap
• Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
• Completes all quality related inspection requirements
• Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures
• Suggest and participate in the implementation of process improvements and scrap reduction activities
• Performs all required preventative maintenance activities
• Actively participates in LEAN projects and activities
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
• Other assignments as required

Education Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
