Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) is hiring a Full-Time Pre-Admissions Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse or LPN for the Urology ASC - Downtown. The PAT RN/LPN provides continuous nursing care before discharge and supports physicians during procedures as needed.

The role requires current RN or LPN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and relevant PACU or Critical Care experience. Strong communication and the ability to manage busy workloads are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN/LPN School of Nursing.
• Active RN or LPN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, maintaining safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from general anesthesia/sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate pre-discharge needs.

The Pre-Admissions Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse OR LPN provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications
