Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Practice Performance Manager for Melbourne, FL to lead provider performance initiatives and drive STAR gap closure. You will collaborate with physicians, care groups, and plan leadership to implement programs, educate providers, and report on performance metrics.

Expect up to 75% local travel to engage providers, develop action plans to improve HEDIS outcomes, and coordinate incentive efforts to elevate Medicare Advantage care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 1+ year of STARs experience.
• Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Live within or in close proximity to territory (Melbourne, FL).

Responsibilities

• Lead program implementation and provider performance management using metrics incl. 4 STAR gap closure and coding accuracy.
• Build relationships with care providers to enable education, reporting, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Travel across the territory to meet providers and discuss UHG tools and programs.
• Coordinate and lead Stars-specific meetings to drive continual improvement.
• Provide reporting to health plan leadership on progress and outcomes.
• Develop provider-specific plans to improve HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Provide training and coaching on program implementation and barrier resolution.
• Lead internal coordination to assemble resources for provider education and consultation.
