Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Practice Performance Manager to lead provider performance initiatives and education across a Medicare Advantage landscape. The role emphasizes coaching, data-driven improvement, and collaboration with physicians and GP networks to close STAR gaps and raise coding accuracy.

You will travel up to 75% within the assigned territory, engaging with providers to implement plan tools, track progress, and deliver actionable insights to improve care quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 1+ year of STARs experience.
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation.
• Live within or in close proximity to territory (Melbourne, FL).

Responsibilities

• Implement provider performance programs and manage metrics (4 STAR gap closure, coding accuracy).
• Build relationships with care providers and offer education and reporting.
• Travel across territory to meet providers and discuss UHG tools and programs.
• Execute provider incentive programs for health plan.
• Develop provider-specific plans to improve HEDIS performance and outcomes.
• Lead Stars-focused meetings with provider groups to drive improvement.
• Coordinate internal resources for education, coaching and consultation.
• Provide progress reporting to health plan leadership.
