Job summary

UPMC's Altoona Regional Health Services seeks a Practice Manager to lead pulmonology, trauma, and diagnostics operations. This full-time role supports scheduling, budgets, staff supervision, and compliance across multiple practice locations with travel as required.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or higher in a healthcare-related field with management experience, or equivalent combinations of education and healthcare management experience, along with licensure requirements (Act 34).

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree with healthcare experience and management experience.
• Alternative: Associate's degree with healthcare and management experience.
• Alternative: High school diploma with extensive healthcare and management experience.
• Licensure relevant to healthcare compliance (Act 34).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at physician offices and clinics; coordinate schedules, space, supplies, and equipment.
• Manage financial and patient management system functions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, CLIA, PA Dept. of Health).
• Integrate new physicians into practices and manage patient access and templating.
