Job summary

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services seeks a Practice Manager to lead daily operations across pulmonology, trauma and diagnostic departments. The role requires coordinating with IP trauma, sleep lab and other IP testing areas, while travel to practice locations is expected.

The position is full-time, typically Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with some flexibility, and emphasizes budgeting, staff supervision and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Oversee budgets and patient management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and PA Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations at physician offices and clinic sites and coordinates work activities.
• Manages schedules and call-offs and ensures space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained.
• Manages all functions of the financial and patient management system at physician offices.
• Ensures compliance with system-wide/departmental policies and patient confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
• Integration of new physicians into practices.
• Monitors practice benchmarks and timely patient access; supports budgeting with senior management.
