Job summary

Charlton Family Medicine is seeking a Full-time Practice Manager to lead daily operations at the Charlton site. This 40-hour week role covers patient registration, triage, appointments, referrals, billing workflows, and purchasing to ensure efficient, compliant processes.

The ideal candidate will have a health- or business-focused degree, RN/BSN credentials preferred, and at least five years in medical office management including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in health or business administration.
• RN or LPN management experience strongly preferred.
• BSN with NYS RN license.
• Five years of medical office experience including three years in supervision.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality standards.
• Solid knowledge of medical billing and IT systems.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day office operations including patient registration, triage, and appointments.
• Coordinate value-based care efforts (NCQA PCMH, EPC) for practice transformation.
• Coordinate training and staff development.
• Organize and provide reports on staff productivity and performance.
• Prepare payroll accurately and on time.
• Create schedules for providers in EMR and ensure coding accuracy.
• Assist with credentialing processes for practitioners.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of medical information.
• Collaborate with administration and lab staff to resolve billing issues.
