Job summary

Charlton Family Medicine is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive administrative excellence. The role supports patient registration, scheduling, billing, and credentialing across a busy primary care environment.

The ideal candidate will have a health or business administration background, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of medical billing and EMR systems. NYS RN license and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or business administration preferred.
• Clinical management experience as an RN or LPN strongly preferred.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred, with valid NYS RN license.
• Five years of medical office experience including three years in a supervisor/management capacity in healthcare preferred.
• Effective communication skills in answering patient inquiries, by phone or in person.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day office operations and patient registration, scheduling, and invoicing.
• Coordinate value-based care efforts (e.g., NCQA PCMH, EPC).
• Organize staff training, development, and productivity reporting.
• Prepare payroll accurately and timely according to procedures.
• Assist with credentialing and inter-department coordination.
• Ensure accurate coding and charge entry across providers.
