Job summary

Toole Design seeks a Practice Lead in Oakland, CA to guide integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning, mentoring a team and delivering major projects.

You will lead business development, shape technical direction, and collaborate with Design and Planning Directors while reporting to the Engineering Director.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in transportation engineering or multimodal planning.
• Proven track record leading integrated engineering and planning teams.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Experience managing complex, multi-office projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice.
• Mentor engineers and planners and shape technical direction.
• Drive business development and grow the practice with regional leadership.
• Oversee major transportation projects from conception to delivery.
• Collaborate with design and planning directors to align strategy.
