Job summary

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP seeks a Practice Analytics Manager to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and profitability across practice groups.

You will own FP&A activities, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, KPI reporting, and matter profitability analysis, partnering with leadership to optimize billing, utilization and pricing in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

5+ years in practice management, pricing, FP&A in professional services.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/JD preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Hybrid work schedule with in-office Tue–Thu; remote Mon/Fri; onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead FP&A for assigned practice groups, including budgeting and rolling forecasts.
Develop client/matter and timekeeper profitability models and reporting.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packages with trends, risks and opportunities.
Monitor billing/collections; address aging and action plans.
Create dashboards and standardize definitions for performance reviews.
