Job summary

Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington is seeking a hands-on Practice Administrator to lead operations across a premier plastic surgery practice, medspa and ASC. You will partner with physician leadership to strengthen operations, financial performance and patient experience.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare administration, with ASC or plastic surgery experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA/MHA is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of healthcare administration, practice management or comparable operational leadership experience.
  • Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics or closely related elective healthcare environment strongly preferred.
  • ASC experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA or similar graduate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across the surgical practice, medspa and ASC.
  • Partner with physician leadership on business strategy, growth, staffing and operational priorities.
  • Lead department heads and staff with clear expectations, accountability and a strong team culture.
  • Oversee budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, cash flow, financial reporting and key performance indicators; maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits and employee programs.
  • Evaluate workflows, staffing and systems and implement practical process improvements.
  • Partner with internal and external marketing resources on patient acquisition, retention, brand positioning and marketing performance.
  • Oversee core technology and vendor relationships, including Nextech, CRM, communications and IT; use modern tools, including AI, to improve efficiency.

Job description

Sierra Health Search Partners has been retained by Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington to identify an experienced Practice Administrator to lead operations across a premier plastic surgery practice, full-service medspa and AAAHC-accredited, Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery center.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can partner closely with physician leadership, strengthen operations and financial performance, develop the team, and maintain an exceptional patient experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day operations across the surgical practice, medspa and ASC.
  • Partner with physician leadership on business strategy, growth, staffing and operational priorities.
  • Lead department heads and staff with clear expectations, accountability and a strong team culture.
  • Oversee budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, cash flow, financial reporting and key performance indicators; maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online.

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of healthcare administration, practice management or comparable operational leadership experience.
  • Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics or a closely related elective healthcare environment strongly preferred.
  • ASC experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets, reporting and KPIs.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and operate effectively with physician owners.
  • Comfortable moving between strategy and the day-to-day details of running a practice.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA or similar graduate degree is a plus.
