Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks a Marketing & Public Relations Supervisor to lead public relations, media relations, and thought leadership across EE/EV/ADR in CT, MA, and NH. You will partner with Media Relations and external agencies to amplify brand and align with corporate principles.

You will manage outreach, events, and external engagements, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-impact campaigns on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Journalism, Sustainability or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Five to ten years of related experience in public relations, corporate communications, marketing communications, or related field.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Experience communicating with policymakers, government agencies, and industry stakeholders is a plus.
• Experience in sustainability, clean energy, or energy efficiency industry is desired.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes the EE/EV/ADR public relations strategy in partnership with Media Relations and external PR partners.
• Serves as the main point of contact for internal PR requests and initiatives.
• Manages external PR and advertising agencies and leads regular PR calls and projects.
• Develops outreach plans to increase awareness of EE/EV/ADR solutions and customer engagement.
• Leads thought leadership strategy with Media Relations.
• Identifies and evaluates partner opportunities (speaking engagements, sponsorships, conferences, white papers).
• Reviews and recommends strategic event opportunities aligned with business objectives and brand.
• Represents EE/EV/ADR at industry conferences and associations as appropriate.
• Collaborates with internal customers to execute strategic communications and outreach.
• Coordinates with writers, designers, photographers, agencies, and vendors to meet deadlines and brand standards.
• Serves as a primary editorial resource ensuring consistency and quality of messaging.
• Maintains relationships with industry associations and external organizations to boost visibility.
