Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• 1+ year of experience providing technical support in a multi-user environment is preferred.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Office, hardware, peripherals, basic networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Valid PR driver's license.
• Availability to visit different locations to provide IT services.
• On-site availability Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; some overtime may be required.

• Configuration and activation of the Electronic Payment Terminal (EPT) for new deployments at service stations.
• Locating equipment in the warehouse and transporting it to the systems laboratory.
• Programming and configuring POS devices in the systems laboratory.
• Organizing all equipment required for on-site installation.
• Leading the on-site installation process in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Performing on-site installation of all assigned equipment.
• Working with the central team to install and configure the system to bring it online.

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Specialist provides responsive, hands‑on technology support across the organization. This position manages service desk requests, troubleshoots hardware, software, network, and business application issues, administers user access, maintains accurate technology asset records, and supports system upgrades and technology projects.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with excellent customer service, clear communication, and a strong sense of ownership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configuration and activation of the Electronic Payment Terminal (EPT) as part of the deployment of a new project and installation at service stations
• Locating equipment in the warehouse and transporting it to the company’s systems laboratory
• Programming and configuring POS devices in the company’s systems laboratory
• Organizing all equipment required for on‑site installation
• Leading the on‑site installation process in coordination with the Project Manager
• Performing on‑site installation of all assigned equipment
• Working with the central team to install and configure the system to bring it online

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• At least 1 year of experience providing technical support in a multi-user environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office applications, computer hardware, peripherals, basic networking, and troubleshooting practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Valid PR driver's license
• Availability to visit different locations to provide IT services.
• Available Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Some overtime may be requested.

Compensation

• $13.25 per hour, full time position
