TAWA Services, Inc. is seeking a PPC Production Manager for its Produce Packing Center in Buena Park, CA.

You will oversee daily operations, including planning, staffing, inventory control, and compliance with food safety standards to ensure on-time packing and shipping. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in production, food packing, or fresh produce operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; 2–3 years in production/food packing or related environment.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in fresh produce, food packing, grocery distribution, or perishable products highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Produce Packing Center, including production planning, staffing, scheduling, inventory management, packing, and shipping.
• Develop daily and weekly production plans based on store demand, inventory, capacity, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure on-time production and accuracy to support store delivery requirements and minimize shortages.
• Monitor inventory, labor productivity, yield, waste, quality issues, and KPIs; implement improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for production, packing, inventory control, sanitation, quality, and safety.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop packing center employees; enforce policies and safety.
