Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Produce 2nd to support the Produce Manager in day-to-day department operations within our on-site store in California. You will supervise staff, help manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring product freshness and accurate pricing.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train associates, handle scheduling, vendor invoices, and merchandising plans to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over five years of Produce experience and supervisory experience required.
• Experience supervising a team in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce team in managing and supervising the department, including scheduling, training, ordering, and overseeing sweep logs.
• Supervise and train the Produce team.
• Verify vendor invoices and ensure product quality and quantity accuracy.
• Maintain inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and profitability.
